Omkara Black Warrior P
AKA: Tuskaloosa (Tux)
16th Century Native American Leader. His name is derived from the western Muskogean language elements "taska" and "losa," which means "Black Warrior".
This boy is a special one, through his fantastic pedigree, his awesome type and most of all through the special and memorable way we finally were able to add him to our family. A incredibly big thank you first of all should go out to his breeder and our dear friend and mentor Pilar of Omkara, as this little big boy was the fruit of a long awaited combination of lines thought lost and lines that are very well suited to match with all the ladies we have here at our cattery. What made acquiring Tux special, was that this all took place at the very surprising and impactful preliminary outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. After having been patient and waiting for almost two years for this boy to arrive, we flew to Spain to pick him up so we could finally be able having him join our group, the lockdown of Spain was implemented in chaotic and shuddering steps, meaning that we had to leave as quickly as we could with this baby boy. We are so grateful and appreciative that this all worked out in the end and that this serious looker has joined our family, thanking our lucky stars that we managed to beat corona in cheating us out of this great addition, as travel as we now all know was restricted for months, meaning that if we had not picked him up then, stunning Tux might well have been too old to successfully join our group.
Character:
Tux is simply incredible! Entering our household confidently and very sure of himself, with the proper reverence to his seniors. He is absolutely adorable with not being able to choose on who’s belly he wants to lie early in the morning when we awake, purring like crazy and forcing his head under your hands to demand caressing. He has found an immediate friend and fellow rascal in Mo’s Ma Barker, tearing up our home each and every day with their shenanigans. We are more than curious and extremely hopeful in his development as our future stud!
